My friend is unfortunately a ricer. He got a 2001 civic lx 5 speed. And i was wondering, how well would he keep up with me? i have an auto 2001 Gt... only flowmaster as a perf mod.... not too sure... should i be scared of losing? because i know that sticksare faster...

You should not be scared as long as he does not do a motor swap. If he does a LS swap or GSR swap you will have competition, but a stock LX does not stand a chance.

lol ok, just checkin... i wooped a crx with ... exhaust and some engine work done... it was the first gear he was still by me, but after that i was gone...

its because your GT is heavier is why they can keep up at the launch....Just be carefull for the guys spraying the cheater juice...Im thinking of hooking up a 100 shot like J which will surpass the normal GT stang on the road :)

those CRX's have a long 1st gear but they are nothing to lose sleep over. I've raced a modded CRX before on the street and started to pull after 2nd.
