New hood

Picked up a VIS, grade A, Carbon Fiber cowl induction hood. Will be installing this weekend, as well as other goodies.

Just curious what everyone's opinion was on the CF hoods. I was never really a fan of them...but they look pretty sweet on black. It's sooo much freakin lighter too.

you should come to the muscle car meetings in houston....every saturday at 7:00pm-9
at the sams parking lot on highway6 and i-10. they're fun

on your black car, it will look awesome, but if you would like to keep it on the car, i highly recommend a set of hood pins, so if your on the highway you can keep it from flyin off your car, but i think it will look sweet!!!

Already looking into that. Gonna call VIS and see what kind of setup they recommend with that specific hood... but we looking at hood pins and cords already :clap:

You know I will! Gotta post pics of that and everything else being installed this weekend! I'm so antsy...ive been staring at parts for weeks! And I finally get to put em on!!

So I'll be posting pics of those...and hopefully me and Amanda (captindorko) will get to take some of us and our cars as well! :woohoo:
