My names Chris Lammon, from Oak Lawn Illinois, please don't hunt me down. I recently got a 00 Mustang Coupe V6, 5speed. It was only 7,000$ and has 68,000 miles on it. A while ago my aunt bought me a V6 as a suprise because she knew I loved mustangs, but it was auto cuz the deal was she could drive it to work but I get it the rest of the time, then she sold it after a while, I got A DSM and it broke down (typical), and now here I am, 00 Coupe 5spd :) And I'm lovin it.. I don't really condone (right word?) street racing, but I won my first race up against a Mazda MX6 with an exhaust, thats all I know of anyway.. Anyway I smoked him by like 5 cars and I started breaking at about 85. Anyway thats my story, I hope everyone takes the newbie under their wing and doesn't hate me for driving a V6. - Chris

welcome. You are not alone son. You can get BIG gains from a v6 you just gotta do your homework. I can run with GT's and there are a few others on here that can too. No hate here bro. Every person that has a gotstang screen name is cool and loves the mustang regardless of engine size. Here are my thoughts.(and if you ever have a question about v6's do not hesitate to ask.
