O.K. We buy the Kenmore Elite washer and dryer back in August of 2004 along with the "Extended Warranty Plan" You just have to buy because it gives you protection and you have three kids and it's a very good system but it can still break down over time bullshit line. Anyway 9 months later this past Friday the F'n washer goes to shit, stops working, of course the damn thing is full of water and locked closed. Anyway we call Sears service and they set up a service call for the following Monday afternoon, so now clothes from Friday-Monday won't get done, with three kids and 4 adults in the house well you can all imagine what Mount Clothesmore looked like by Monday afternoon.
Well 5 pm rolls around and now F'n tech so I call to find out what the F-wad is doing. Well he's not coming so I have to reschedule would I like Thursday Sat. or the following Mon. afternoon. The poor lady on the other line got a earful. I was transferred 5 times to 5 different managers, who all basically told me I was SOL. NO ONE CAN HELP ME. FUCK I'M PISSED. I say I should be the first call on your list for tomorrow morning, and of course the dumb ass come back with well Mr. Young how would you feel if you were scheduled for the morning and you got pushed off. I almost lost it, I couldn't believe this knob just said that to me. I asked who was going to pay for the Laundramat bill for 5 days worth of clothes, they say well sir you are not paying for the service, Again WTF did I pay for when I bought the Super Duper gotta have it "Your A Premier Customer Now" fucking Extended Warranty Plan. And I'm paying to have the F'n clothes washed I'm paying for it. Needless to say I got nothing form Hub Management they can't help, not even here we're sorry we F'd up $5 gift certificate. They basically said our needing clothes was not as important as someone needing a refrigarator. Two years ago my ice maker went in our Refrig bought at home depot, Ice mind you, they came out the same day and fixed it. Ice , ice the same day.
Spread the Word don't get F'd by Sears. :ban:

I don't shop at Sears...and now I never will.

Keep ragging their asses...either that or tell
them you're gonna park that washer on their
doorstep tagged with a big sign saying I bought
this junk at Sears.

I basically told them that In an email that I wrote to them this morning. Between forums and the contacts that I have in the local community as far as being into coaching soccer and stuff like that, I told them I was going to spread the word.

You should do what i did. I have a local alternator place screw me over a few times. So i put a add in the paper like an advertisment saying what they did right beside there add. I cut it out and tapped it to there door. They called me and told me that was slander and what not but i drove by everyday for a week and put anotehr copy on there door before they got there lol. My mom gave me the idea. They hate me now. But you should have seen how much business they lost. give this a shot you will get more than your money back.

I used to work with Sears.....DONT CALL THEM, GO TO THE STORE....over the phone it goes to some stupid Tech support center that is not located in the store and they have the worst support team you could ever have....

Go to the store that you bought it at and bitch at the store manager, THEY HAVE 2 at every store, and make a scene in the Washer Dryer area and trust me, you will have you tech out to your house that night.....Don't take crap from them, you are the customer and you are always right....if they say, "you need to call our tech support center" then start writing down names from name badges and call go to the Human resources department in the store (all have one) and file complaints on all the individuals you spoke to.....after filing complaints, call the corporate office and file more complaints.....this way if you don't get the tech out to your house, which you should, it also REALLY screws up their Bonuses on the year and gives the store a horrible rating :)

We got the Neptune washer from sears. We had a problem with the plastic inner ring around the top of it. For some reason it would grab our comfortors (washed individually in it) and tear holes into it. we got it repaired and the next time we washed a comfortor it tore the comfortor again. The problem is for some reason, the ring is cracking. Sears sent a tech out and the guy had to order the part and come back later to install but it pissed us off that it broke again so we need to get it fixed. I feel your pain and i definately know all about MT Clothesmore. We sure as hell could use another washer and dryer in our house.

Well damn, like the Kenmore Elite you payed a boat load for the Neptune, You should'nt require another Washer and dryer. Well at least you got someone there to fix it at least once. The new saying is going to be I'm gonna go Sears on his ass. That's after I get done tonight

Sears sucks bigtime....I hated the management at the store because they were both horrible managers and didnt do crap but sit around on their big asses all day and complain that we didnt make enough money....Funny thing is I left Sears after only working for a couple of months as a cashier and went to work at Safeway as a checker....Left safeway in order to start college with a clean head and not worry about work since I had a full scholarship to the University of Washington and had the option to return as a checker whenever I wanted to.....after waiting awhile, I was asked to be a Manager at Hollywood Video in the area and am currently the manager over one of my old managers from Sears.....Seems she was fired for horrible customer support and not treating the customers with respect and horrible job performance.....After speaking with our district manager and a few others to figure out why "her store does so horribly at everything" they were quite enlightened to hear about my past experiences with her and that explained why she has so many complaints from customers about her at her current job.....All I can say is she won't be around too much longer :)

let us know what happens 93, Im really interested in hearing how the conversation goes after you get back from teh store :beerchug:

Well I didn't make it, cuz I went to my little guy's soccer practice. Anyway I just got a response for one of the head Hunchos in management, I'll have a guy at my house today to fix the washer, on top of that they're giving me a $100 gift card. This was just of an email I sent to corporate yesterday afternoon. This guy wasn't very happy with the service I received over the phone. He was all apologizes. Hehehehe to funny, I guess it helps to say I was planning on using Sears for my vinyl siding, but after this service I'd be afraid to. Ha I've got all my vinyl siding in the back yard already. So now I just wait and see if the damn service tech shows up today.

Yes, but it was even funnier that we were both ass drunk, and when we left the mall entrance I was eating a mountain dew snowcone I made out of Snow and a bottle of Mountian Dew that had been left outside. Ohh and the donut and perfest park job at Papa Gino's, Four wheel drive don't work.

Dan these people really don't know what they're missing by not getting together with us. Ohh well it's their loss.

Well I thought I'd fill you all in. Well yes the service tech came and fixed the washer the day he said, we have not recieved the $100 gift card. I've sent two more complaints in to corporate, one call came back so far saying that hasn't been taken care of yet? Well we're a month out and Corporate is right in MA, I'd hate to see how long it would take them to get it to someone in CA. The worst part about this whole thing is the Service tech was told it was super High priority because we had been missed on Monday, he went back in the system, We were never scheduled!!!!! That's why we had no service tech. I'm sticking with my original Quote Sears sucks!!!!!

I have spent a lot of money at Sears. Washer, dryer, water softener, etc etc. Last October, I buy a new central A/C unit. About 2 months ago, when it started getting hot, I noticed a dripping noise, but couldn't figure out where it came from. I finally listen hard enough and find my new a/c unit leaking water all over my floor. The floor is rotten right there, I'm scared to set foot on it. I call sears. They schedule an appointment. Guess what... didn't show. I send them an email that was quite wordy and nasty. They send an email back all apologies, saying they'd be there next saturday. Guess what... no show again. By this time I'm emailing them saying they're going to fix my floor and I won't pay a dime on what I have left to pay them. FINALLY they send a guy. He was there for a full 3 minutes. My drip pan is cracked. I have to call the guy that installed it. Oh that's nice, who the hell was that? He said he'd call. 3 weeks later... nothing. I called the service center down the road and he gives me the phone number of the guy I bought it from. I now have to call him and wait for him to call the guy that installed it.... man, I tell you I will never ever ever shop at that store again. I'm seriously considering having a giant dent on my credit and just not paying off what I owe them. I already have a house, don't need to worry about another mortgage. Anyway, that's my sears story... don't go there!! I'll go somewhere else if what I want is twice the price as sears... they won't get shit from me!

Yeah, I had a refrigerator replaced under my home warantee a few months ago and they arrived at my house while I wasn't there so it was rescheduled for the following thursday. Well that thursday rolls around and nobody shows up so I have to call and they tell me it's for the next monday. They basically moved it without telling me. I had even cleared out my schedule so that I would be available.
