View Full Version : This is the nicest system i've ever seen (in person)

It's 100% Cadence (I wasn't able to get the interior of the car, but there are 10 speakers in it not including the subs)

I've just discoverd this company and I got the chance to listen to this system today. The amp in the center and the subs are what I'm buying in a matter of days.

This is the loudest system i've ever heard. It kills JL w7's, Eclipse Titaniums... ANYTHING.

For those who know a lil abuot speakers, these are some of the most efficient (which means clean and tight) subs i've ever seen.

93dB sensitivity with 2.0xx ohm impeadence

If you are interested in any of this, I can get it to you at cost. I have a connection with the distributor.

Sweet...whats the price for the subs and amp?

_eazy_
06-12-2005, 11:03 PM
The subs retail around $330.00 a piece, however i can get them to you for $250.00 a piece shipped.

the amp retails for around $550.00, but i can get it to you for $470.00 shipped.

the specs on the subs are 600 watts RMS, 900 peak at 93dB

the amp is 1000 watts RMS at 1 ohm (two 2 ohm subs bridged is 1 ohm)

actually, if you think about it, veichles with open air "trunks" (suv's, hatchbacks, and wagons) are 10 times better sounding than cars with trunks. so, that car has an open air "trunk" that is much smaller than that of an suv.

it sounded completely badass.

wow ive been told that one w7 will blow your trunk off...that would be nice. Save a lot of trunk space too..Ill see what i can get for my current system and ill get back to ya.

Ya Cadence is ALOT better than Kicker,JL,Audiobahn,Eclipse, etc...
Not to mention you havnt heard of Cadence because not every Tom,Dick, and Harry carries them. Like Kicker, everyone has a DAMN solo baric. Im tired of hearing about that damn square GIMIC. Ad if you notice Kicker also went to being a flashy good looking sub when they went to Circuit City. Shows all they are out for is money and don't care about sound quality anymore. Look at Fosgate same way. Cadence is rare and such a bad ass product. I heard 4 beast 12's on the ZRS-10 TRUE 2500 watt amp and it was making the back window on a civic jump 6 inches total! You cant beat these subs. I give all other companies :diss: a swift kick. And their ZX series 6x8's are awsome. I had a pair in my truck and they were clear and loud.

on paper, the speakers cadence sold looked PERFECT. the sensitivity was so high and the impeadence was so low. the speaker can handle mountains of power, and are cheaper than ALL of the top brands when it comes to specs.

cadence makes sound quality their #1 priority... like I said, i've never heard anything sound that clean and that loud.

from SPL drag, super efficient sound reproduction, to just plain hair raising music... cadance runs the map.

i'm now a believer

cadence > all

i listen to everything from country to hip hop to rock to talk radio. I like the way the subs i have now fill out the rock music, and i like how i get people to look at me when i turn up the hip hop.

Well them will damn sure nough get you looked at LOL. And another good thing about that amp, is its small, and its a digital processor amp. Not A/B switching. alot cleaner and smooth bass.

as far as clairity goes, cadence is again at the summit of the car audio world. i havn't done a direct comparison yet, but even in the mids and highs, cadence are better than MBQuartz and Focal on paper. i'd have to compare them to make a final judgement

for the low end, most companies don't bother with quality sound reproduction. most of the sub manufactures i've seen lately aim to reach high power ratings at the sacrifice of clarity. efficiency is the name of the game when you can distinguish one speaker from the next. any company can make some ridiculously high power hendling sub to break all your windows, but they sound like ass. no shape of speaker will ever top a circle. it's physics.

as far as music goes, again, i feel that cadence is the best for a wide band of listeners. i know im promoting the hell out of this compan.. but all i've done is do A LOT of research (and i know what i'm taking about when it comes to audio) and going out in the field and listening to all the key players.

if you listen to more of country and talk radio, then a hi-fidelity system is prolly not what you need to be spending your money on. if you are into techno, rock, rap, r and b, or any other type of music with a defined bass tone, then you're already looking in the right direction - subwoofers.

how many? well, the most commen setup out there today is a twin 12" woofer setup in a sealed or ported box (please for the love of god stay far away from bandpass or other enclosures) if you like rap at all, then this is the setup you should use.

for those confused about size (and yes it does matter) here's how it breaks down... (if the sub was the same, just different size)

8 - Rarely used by themselves... for the super highend bass frenquencies (500 Hz)
10 - Used for the highend bass frenquencies (300-500 Hz)
12 - Most commen. Awesome responce from (20-400+ Hz)
15 - Deep Bass (15 - 200 Hz)
18 - Rare... DEEP Bass (10 - 150 Hz) These eat power like no tomarrow
32 - Only one company makes them... It's a big air conditioner (sounds like shit)

What is a Hz? A "hertz" is a frenquency that is more of a time scale. take 1 Hz for example, all it means is per second, the speaker is fully going through its full motion (excursion) one time. for 60 Hz, it moves through it's full excursion 60 times per second. (30 times in, 30 times out.) In normal music (even the deepest bass songs you hear) the lowest bass you will experience is about 22-25 Hz. You cannot hear anything below 15 i believe.

Okay, that's just some of the technical BS to help some of yall better decide what's best for your application... which brings me to another subject.. you're veichle...

Your car - Mustangs (especially verts) are hard to make sound good. Don't get me wrong, you put enough money into it, and you can get a toaster to bump. With Cadence, i can't imagine a mustang sounding anything less than unbelieveable. The sensitiviey (the amound of decibles the speaker can produce using 1 watt or power measured at 1 meter) affects the way sound is reproduced. The higher the dB in sensitivity, the cleaner the speaker (assuming the impeadence (resistance, measured in ohms) of the speaker is good) By having no less than 92dB, Cadence stands alone when it comes to massive power handling for a price that you'd expect to pay for a speaker 1/2 as good.

Bottem line, bass is moving air. It's how efficient you can move it that seperates quality from mass produced flashy marketing overpriced speakers.

Hope some of this helps... if you have any questions on the science of sound or how shit works, feel free to ask.

If you ask me, if you mainly listen to rock, go with 2 10's.
if you have a variety go with 2 12's.
if you want to spend money and have an SUV go with 15's.
if you want to be deaf and have another air conditioner go bigger.

And for someone who doesnt want subs, but better sound. Go with 4 ZX series 6x8's and the VA600 amp. unbeatable combo.

Yeah you're right but I got the s/c from a good friend fror $75 bones. Just something to play with till I get my 98 cobra motor in this winter. A real pain though the car it came out of was hit HARD!!!! on the right side and the head and cam are scrap. I have to replace the right head and cam and while I am at it I am going to throw in some forged internals. (Money permitting) BTW I was just poking fun about the cadence system. Where I am from you see these guys buy Wal Mart items and they think they are bad and well,,, it makes me laugh. (Of course that is the only store within 50 miles but still.)
