O.K. Cobra94 gave me the leftover caliper paint, I painted my front calipers, looks F'n great. My question is do I paint the Rear drums or would it look stupid. Has anyone else painted thier rear drums. Any Pics. I would be doing it this Saturday, before the Mustang Show.

Suggestions please

personally drum brakes aren't appealing on the eyes. if you paint them attention will be brought to them and make them stand out when they look horrible to begin with (no matter what vehicle they are on). if they are unpainted then someone would look at them and blow them off and not think twice about em.

suggestion: don't paint them and the next mod you do make sure it a rear brake upgrade, just my .02

i wouldnt paint them red b/c that would draw too much attention to them and i just dont think it would look right having a big round red thing behind your rims, but that's just me. maybe black :ugh2:

Black would be a nice color would make them not stand out too bad but woudl make them look very clean behind your wheels

Well there not rusty brown, thank god, they still have the factory black paint, no rust set in anywhere on the car, I really need the garage to keep that going.

I'm still torn tho.

I prolly wouldn't paint them red.

I painted mine in an aluminum finish. My wheels are silver, so they match my wheels.

O.K. Red is to bold, what about Car color, I mean it's going to be close enough to black when sitting behind the wheel.

They're drums, I wouldn't draw any attention to them. a clean coat of black sounds best to me. I won't paint my calipers, they look to durn small as it is, no need to attract attention to the inadequate portions of the car...
