.....for me to finally find one that will agree to draw his gun on my stang?
Well the count so far is 8. All of them have said no. They all probably think I am some nut case too and are now on the look out for some nut job driving a yellow stang who approaches cops, pulls them over and then hits them with this crazy request...... It will be worth it when one finally agrees to do it.
The K9 pic hasnt been the easiest to get either. On Monday I pulled over an officer in an unmarked car and hit him up with my request. He ofcourse said no, so i asked about the puppy dog doing a photo op and he called a SGT who has the dog but the guy wasnt in the area. He told me to go to the training center and try to get them to do it there. Well I went there on Wednesday before work and Thursday and couldnt find a puppy dog to save my life. I was told to go to the sheriffs annex and try there. No dogs. Next I think I will try FT. Bragg. Im sure theres an MP who is a private rolling around in a lumina i can talk into drawing his weapon on my stang. May also be able to find a puppy dog there too.
In the mean time, anyone care to take a guess how many more cops or MP's i will have to ask before i can get one to draw his weapon on my stang?

I had asked my friend who is a cop, and he said that he has to ask his sgt for permission. also they are not allowed to get photographed. big trouble he had told me, but he said he will help me out soon for my picts.

Yes. Almost every department has a clause where the officers are not suppost to "pose" for photos

Big difference is that you actually know a cop. I dont so when I ask, you know they are thinking im crazy. The looks I get too say it all. I wont give up though. I get it eventually......LOL.

My neighbor who I asked to do some pics for other hunt claims in the past, said that he can get in big shit over that stuff. I don't know about the hand cuff bit either due to legalities. He had said it wasn't that he didn't want to help out just the ramifications if someone had an issue with it.
The gs sticker on the cruiser and k9 is no problem so if the shit bag weather we've been having subsides I can go after sum of these other claims.
Good luck ryan,I hope the "cuffs on you" don't end up having more of a meaning. If I was you I would ask J if the two angled mug shot from the cops from booking can be submited!

I already got the one with the cop handcuffing me on the hood. I need the one with the cop drawing his weapon, I need the puppy dog officer and i gotta find a cruiser with no cops around. I even made my own "quick apply" got stang sticker cause the other one will take to long to put on (unless you have the cops permission) but i dont plan on getting permission for this one. Its gonna be a quick stick, 2 pics and im gone. Sticker stays though. LOL

I am just not messing with the cops at all. Not worth it IMO. I am surprised so many don't mind being photographed, especially the 'fake arrest hunt'. I really think we have too many hunts with cops. We don't have as many doing anything else (except eating out I suppose!)

 Dont want to bother cops, mmmmm sounds like someones got a warrant out for there arrest. So tell us what didja do? forget to show up to court for a ticket? Excessive speeding? rob a bank, jay walk, lude acts in public with a monkey? c'mon tell us we swear we wont turn ya over to the law....

Maybe it's a past life experience. [I think I wrang some guy named Ryan's neck who rode a yellow horse...] :p I am just not going out of my way to mess with them.
I don't trust most cops, especially here. I don't mean to generalize but it seems like there are a lot of corrupt ones around here. I mean there are a couple who's families are part of drug trafficking, then one brother becomes a cop. Seems like the majority of older ones are pompus jerks too. Rarely are they friendly. Just my .02.
To be honest, my husband knows one pretty well and keeps wanting me to let him call him over to help out with the pics. I also knew one a few years ago I could have talked to about it but he was relocated. I just don't feel up for it. I just like the hunts to get me out of the house and give me an excuse to do something with the car.
I'm starting to burn out a little because I am tired of going places taking pics of the car in otherwise dumb locations and having people think I am a weirdo. lol. Then there was the catcalling last week. That really brought me down... :(
P. S. has anyone noticed how obscene our smilies have gotten?!!!! http://forums.gotstang.com/images/smilies/wow.gif

I would suggest doing that with permission. I would think if a law officer did a small amount of digging they would easily trace it back to GS. lol afterall, you're leaving the web address on the cruiser!
I'm not certain what level of trouble that might bring upon the site, and if they asked who Rwest75 is...well, I'll just say 'easily traced.' The last thing you need is to be arrested for is defacing city/state property. Whether or not they'd go that far, who knows...

good point. of course they would have to log onto the site, register and become members in order to view the hunt claims though. Just going to this site, the hunts dont even show up until your signed on. If they figure that far into it, they would have to find the actual hunt claim and see all the submissionsso if i didnt post it right away i could be in the clear. the bad thing is they can always come to the forum and see whats up so then I would be screwed.....LOL I might want to do this with permission after all or find another city/state to do this in.

nah... they would never know.. that would be like me ordering stickers off a website and putting them on cop cars.. and that website getting introuble.. not gonna happen.... they might do finger print analysis though :)

Almost forgot to update the count. Today while I was at the Hope Mills Police Dept I pulled the 05 in the back where i saw and officer. I had with me my copy of MM&FF and my hunt claim list that still needs to be filled. I asked the officer if he could help me out but he said no. He told me to go to the Fayetteville Police and gave me a name of a guy who he said would be able to take care of doing all my claims involving the police. He told me the reason why they dont do stuff like this is cause the departments dont want it ending up on the internet....LOL. Maybe i should stop telling them its for a web site....LOL.
well anyway the count is up to 9 officers who have denied my request.

The count is up to 11.
I asked the MP who was the K9 handler and he said they couldnt do it. I also asked the gate guards on Pope AFB and was told the same thing. I could always go back to Pope AFB and drive onto the airfield (cross the little red line that your not suppose to cross) and that would definately get the attention of the SP's. LOL.

I guess I got lucky I went to the 1st Station and the cop said against regulations to have there pics taken for something like that. Then the 2nd Station the Cop was so cool, the only thing he couldn't do was help me with the K-9, there wasn't a Unit there and he couldn't do the drawing of gun on my Mach. But I think I did pretty good on the ones I did get, I kind of messed up on the Handcuff one, he was in a hurry and I let him handcuff me at rear of my car instead of front, but heck at least I had it done. I don't think I will try and do the others unless I see a cop somewhere and randomly ask them.
Oh and the cop who did help me asked for the site cause he wanted to check out all the pics, so Officer Mike if ya see this a Big Thank You!!!
