I have been doing some things on the internet, and have seen some things that some suggest that bluetooth technologies can be exploited to actually infect ones car computer.

The original study in this URL, has to do with a Pruis

Then FOX News does the report!!

Nothing as simple as what's in my car would be susceptible, but systems like On-star and whatnot, makes me wonder when it will be possible?

WHOA!! And I'm expecting my custom tune from diablosports in a few days! They're going to email me the tune and I have to download it to my Predator programmer... Maybe I'll ship the Predator up to them and let them load it there.

Great info Ben! You may have saved my day!

I wouldn't do anything drastic yet. It is all in proof of concept stages. With the prepoderance of Bluetooth, and more for the future, the questions are being asked and some folks are playing with how to mitigate if this were too pass.

Imagine the possibilities for a REAL DDOS. Just target a whole bunch of cars using a wireless device on an overpass during rush hour in LA!

yeah, I understand.. but, with all the troubles my PC gives me, it STILL might be a good idea to ship diablosports my programmer and let them load it, just in case. Just my luck there's a 'trojan car computer virus' that no one knows about yet..
I'd find out about it at 4AM on a desolated stretch of highway in the rain.
