Hey 99' to 04' owners check this s**t out!

I guess there has been 1,800 orders in one day! (onebad) and I were talking about this.This is a 7 piece body kit for around 2,000. This is not the door kit but the 05 look alike kit.They do make the door kit as well, but they were just showing what the whole thing would look like

I'm not sure I want to give up what I've got for that. I do love the new 05, but I'd rather get the whole shebang and keep mine too. New edge cars with Stalker body kits are...nothing screams badass louder (except for that whistling turbo noise mixing with V8 roar)

yeah i agree :ugh2: it just doesnt flow together, i mean the front end is decent but from the side the rear bumper and side skirts just dont look right, but thats just me :thumpupn:

That's funny, I was sorta digging on the rear end and didn't like the front end too much. The fenders don't work with the 05 design. I kinda like the smooth filled trunklid. If I didn't have to have a license plate, that's how I'd go.

yea the only reason i would buy the kit is because i hate the interior of the 05's it is the uglyest gauge setup and center console ive ever seen no joke...but yes the exterior is unbeatable

personal opininion is, it's not right.. It looks like an 05 that was squeezed or something.. It's a cool idea though!!! Maybe someone talented will take that idea and work on it..

it's a nice kit and the front does look nice. But i would personally just wait and get the 05' Eleanor kit. Now that is a beautiful body kit that i would love to put on my 05' stang (if i ever get one).

I have the 00' gt and I don't know if I could put the set up on either.There has to be a better blend between the back and front,maybe the elanor front and the concept 05' rear and side skirt exhaust.

i've just recently noticed that i like the style of "roof" that the verts have (99-04) than the coupes

the coupes have big, wide back windows...

the verts are much smaller in terms of size when it comes to the back window and area around it... from the back, the lines fit the car perfectly. the lines of the top match the lines of the tail lights...

verts offer the ability to go 2 tone.... with mine, i feel that white w/ tan top just looks classic, timeless.....

i for one love verts much better than coupes from the styling point of view...

as for the added weight, that is something i can live with as long as i have the warm summer air going thru my hair at 100 mph :)

oh, and we have back windows that go down :)

i personally dont really care for the looks of any convertible car, with the top up that is! i mean the lines of hardtops just flow a lot better and the material that vert tops are made out of just doesnt look all that great to me. i was talkin to RB88 yesterday, at a local car show, about his 04' Mystic Cobra and how he waited for the hardtop instead of settling for a vert, that car was absolutely beautiful in person and i think the convertible top would have taken a lot of that away, but thats just what i think about the subject :ugh2:
