Stang owners A breed apart ?

I have owned mopars (70 Charger R/T, 70 Challenger) a pontiac (Formula) and a oldsmobile (Hurst/Olds)..With that being said this is my first stang. .I've only had my GT about a month now..but I notice now that when I happen to see another stang rollin down the road I look at it only to noticed that the other driver is checkin my ride out also. Of all the other cars I've owned, I've never seen this before. It's not that my ride is all that or anything..but it's a stang. Does this happen to anyone else or I'm I just :looney:

Yes that happens all the time. What is better to me is to get the double take when the guy in the other one notices that a girl is driving. :devil:

yea there was basically the same thread made a couple days ago. Its like Stang owners belong to a cult...whenever i see one i wave and get waved back to.

goes all the way back to the original 60's stangs, people were so excited to see em on the road, they would wave to each other, not much has changed in 40 years, the car still rules and the people are still the coolest! :thumbup:

Yea i get it all the time.....Also nice to have conversations at stoplights with other Stang owners and compliment each others rides.....Its kinda like owning a motorcycle, you give a friendly wave when you see another owner out on the road and they do the same back :beerchug:

I love that about the Stang owners, I get the engine rev. the high beams, the thumbs up, the wave. And yes it' usually I'm checkin out they're car and they're checkin out mine. Even if the stang is delapitated and in the middle of repair, you can still count on getting the mustang love.

Most the time i get looks and i give a tap on the gas as a hello. Even though steph thinks i am showing off. Just my way of saying hey then i will wave or say hey. I never got that when i had the camaro. But when i got my saleen i noticed it the first week. I also noticed that peopel will stop and lights and tell me what kind of stangs they got when they are in there work trucks.

i've been a mustang fan for at least 7 years and when i finally got one i was complemented by so many people on the streets and invited to so many car shows and mustang club events/cruises/bar-ba-ques it was great. And speaking of people talking to you at a stop light telling you about their stangs at home. I did that the other day to this chick in a yellow V6 vert my house while i was driving my 4-runner.
