well its that time of the month again so time for tires. What are you guys running for rubber ? I had placed an order for some nittos 555's but they are on back order so i am debating on getting somethign diffrent. Figured i would see what you guys are running and where a good place to get them is. I like to order them online most the time cause the tires places here are a joke. Thanks. Anyweb sites with good stuff woudl help also. :gso:

Right now I am running a BFGoodrich Traction T/A, it can be a little pricey but excellent tire, great handling and speed rating on it, I got hooked up by a buddy that works in a tire store so i dont know what they would be anywhere else or where is the best...not sure what size your needin either...

yea i have those now they are nice for about 2 months then craped out on me like the last pair. so i am gonna try somethind diffrent. thanks for the input. mine are the kdw's

hmm, I have always had good luck wth bfg's, but i have heard good things about those nitto 555's also, if you dont find something spectacular, ide say go with those

Zexius Lo Pro tires....Basically the same as Toyo Proxes FZ1's, just cheaper cause they are not name brand :)

i got these off of e-bay in jan and i love them so far. they run nice and smooth ,do nice burnouts and ihave run 80mph in pouring rain with no hydroplaneing.

I just got a new set of tires for my baby and rite now i'm running Mohawk tires in the front (don't buy these they are heavy as hell) and i have Kumho 275 40 R17's in the back i love the Kumho's those these are awesome tires.

Nick, Believe it or not, I'm still on the Goodyear Eagles I drove off the lot with.

I'm researching wheels and tires now though and Nittos were a contender, but the big talk around svtoa/nashville are Mickey Thompson drag radials in back.. Everyone's raving about em'. They might be worth checking out. :cool:

KUMHO MX.....great dry weather and good rain. Nice tread pattern. Great road course tire but not drag tire. $$ was best I could find as well.

those MT drags are nice but seem to burn off wayyyyy to easy. i had some on my saleen and they lasted maybe a 2 months but i was at the track a lot.

I was running Nittos for about 5 years and loved them, especially the DRs on the back. When I got the new 18" wheels, I was kinda on a budget for tires. These Falkens actually handle better than the nittos and I highly recommend them. Cant beat the for the money but then again money may not be any object to you :)

Sumitomos on my 18's. Ran them on my last Mustang as well, have had no problems. Cheap and ordered direct from TireRack.
