I know, its all fun, ok, i get it.

however, the hunt has some realy ridiculous crap in it. while other claims are realy great and fun. SO, just when i think I may suck it up and play and just have fun with it. I see a claim for "your stang with cereal on it" WTF
why don't we just go through the whole shopping list! if it was meant to be funny why 25 pnts instead of say,...... 5 MAYBE 10??

whats next. "your car with a dozen eggs on it" "your car with paint on it", "your car on Earth" "your car with a drivers seat" "next to tree" C'mon ppl get real. keep it like what its called "The HUNT". hunting through your cabinets isn't quite what it was ment to be. I'm sure when Nick thought The HUNT up, that was not what he had in mind.

dont flame me either. I'm just venting.

LOL i'll be looking for all those claims now. cause ppl will just do it to be funny, theres no stopping it now.

I have a hunt claim dan that won't be easily obtainable; Two angle shot of your undercarriage at the track because your coming out of the hole pulling the front tires off the ground  You could put it for 5000 points there would be a shit load of them trying it but no go.........and then

The second new hunt claim would be, two angled shot of your stang in a car cruching yard being picked up by the magnetic crane hauling your pride and joy off to the crusher because you killed it trying for the first part....point value 25 you better put the total allowment for this one at 500 entries :nya:

I think J better hirer a photo analisis team to verify bogus claims from photochoppers  :silly:

I just have some strange obsession with taking pictures of my car, the HUNT is just a good excuse, no matter how lame the claim is, though the cereal thing tripped me up a bit....

The point is.. it takes time to go take a picture of your car.. and then upload it to the site... maybe it should be worth less... ill agree with you on that.

I think that people are taking advantage of this stuff. I think that if people would take it serious then it would be a lot better. But then again its becuase of the whole point thing so there is no telling. I will do the ones that i think are right. I think that if we all did that it would help the problem. Do the ones that you think are worth doing and do not take advantage of the system. Just my thoughts.

I look at the hunt this way.. It's taught me a LOT about my camera that otherwise would've taken me years to learn, it's allowed me to spend time with my wife that usually would NEVER happen and it's allowed me 'drive time' which I can never complain about..lol
I'm in full agreement that the pictures should be kept real! I think the fact that they're NOT 'kept real' by some folks is because of the 'loop holes' in the way the description is set up.
As far as points go, I think the hunt is as good as any other way on here to collect them. The tournament, face offs and car show are meant for folks to choose the best car in the competition, and yes, some vote that way, but we all know in most cases it comes down to a popularity contest. In a perfect world we'd all meet at the track and THEN we'd see who'd get points! ha ha

The bottom line is, have fun! :)

true, and thats great! truly..
But i take a whole different look at it, i see it as getting in your car, drive it, spend time IN your car "hunting" for things, then get out and take a picture. not rumage threw your kitchen cabinets for example or what ever other lame idea there has been.
all in all after you boil it all down. its a great feature for the site. we get to see members cars from all kinds of point of view. sometimes i just shake my head and think WTF.
