View Full Version : Quick pics of my taillight tint.

I know the car is dirty. I just drove home from college and it was raining all this week up there. Gonna clean the car tomorrow or so if it stays nice.

this is the tint that meltn02 (from 3.8) sells. looks really good for the price. :thumbup:

Here are the final pics. I also cut some matching stuff for my reflectors and third brake light. I went ahead and did the reflectors on the front as well. hopefully the cops won't get me for it. :lol:

I have every intent on it. Just have to wait for these to settle a couple of days then I can detail the car and take pics. hopefully if I get some work done there will be a couple of other parts on the car. :thumpupn:

very nice look to it.....I still love the darkness and glossiness of my X2C tails though, I was amazed at what they looked like when I first saw them, one of my best mods IMO, little pricey though :(

and remake every frame? you're insane. :silly: j/k I may make a new sig once I get some better pics. I think it's time for the simple approach as well.

02BlueStang ya, I concider this temporary. If I don't get ticketed for it, then I will take it as a sign to move on and buy a spare set of lights, some BASF pro tint, and tint everything. that is to go along with some clear corner headlights.

I have been pulled over many times (speeding, neons, etc) and not one time has an officer ever mentioned my blackouts.....That was with the black out covers as well and I only switched because I was worried about getting rear ended again because the ability to see brake lights during the daytime was impossible.

The X2C tails light up perfectly during the daytime and no problems at all...I have officers get behind me and never once do they pull me over for having them, I have even heard compliments from officers about them.....if you want permanent go with X2C, they only tint about once per month so get your order in, It took me a month to get mine from them but was well worth the wait :beerchug:
