I was selling my Solara on Ebay. Well, the winning bidder turns out has only been in the US for less than 30 days from Korea. Now he won't pay for the car because he didn't realize that I live on the other side of the nation. Gee thanks. You suck. Time to relist this thing.

I don't see how anyone would purchase a vehicle off ebay...unless of course they could go and actually test drive the thing etc...just seems really dumb to me.

Ive heard so many times "I bought the car on ebay and I figured it would work fine even though I never saw it or drove it before I shipped Jim Bob the 30K in cash"...morons

A Big purchase like a vehicle shoul be seen and driven in person. I've been lucky with e-bay except for Blue Oval Industries and thier headlamps

i got sent a 99+ CAI for my 98 mustang....i was kinda pissed cuz it fit like shit..but i modified it a tad and it works fine now. Still it was bullshit that they sent me the wrong one.

I bought a yamaha banshee off ebay a couple years ago. It turned out to be pretty badass and ran awesome then entire time i had it.

Ebay warranties cars for the first 1year/1000 miles.

There are dealers on Ebay that I'd trust. Some place in Houston in particular, but that's because of the experience a buddy of mine had with them. I'd be hard pressed to pay entirely up front without seeing the goods.

i knock on wood have had no problems with e-bay buying or selling stuff.
