I am getting the drift that just about anything works on the hunts. I mean, people who put the car by a toy (train, helicopter, etc.) get enough votes to make it. You don't even have to do the hunts yourself. (Spouse humping exhaust tip instead of you). I feel kinda bad because I have only been doing them if they are real because I feel that is the spirit of the thing but I could go do 20 fake ones because people will vote for them anyway. Maybe it's ok anyway too, I mean creativity counts too.... What do you guys think?

Also, there are so many that involve police officers. The police here don't want to do it and I am sure as hell not going to pressure them. I am sure other places are the same. It seems to put some of us that don't have cop friends at a disadvantage. Can we limit some things to just encompass one or two hunts instead of so many for so many points?

And I have a few ideas so when is the 'submit hunts' link going to be back up?

I feel that the pictures should be real too. I think though, that if the description on the claim list doesn't state clearly that 'THIS HAS TO BE A REAL TRAIN, etc. then, unfortunately all is fair game. Another example would be 'hideous rice.' I ask, hideous to who?? lol When it's that general in it's description it's tough to place parameters around it afterward.

Wendy, I do them real.. I feel better about myself when I keep it real. Some might not agree with me in thinking my Nissan pickup is hideous, but to ME it is! I haven't even washed it in 3 years!! Now, if I had taken a picture of a box of Rice A Roni, I could see their point! Though, that stuff is pretty hideous too! lol

Did you ever see that HBO series 'Carnival?' There's a scene in one episode where one of the freakshows is called, 'Come See The Man Eating Chicken' and everyone standing in line for the show is anxious to see this horrific flesh eating farm bird. When they go into the tent there's a guy sitting at a table eating chicken!!!

:) I say, in the case of the 'HUNT' if the description is vague, then do what your conscience tells you is right.. I think that's all we can do!

Happy Hunting,

My hideous rice was a faded black early 90's civic with hubcaps and a semi home made wing, now that is hideous

I'll vote for really creative ones, but only for the first person who does it (Ok, say the toy one-I'd vote for the first person who thought of it, but not the next 5 or what ever that copied it). I like creative thinking...like if you cant find a way to do it the way everyone else would, figure out your own way instead of just following the leader. BUT, on the same count, copying someone's creative way to try for a claim is weak. Think of your own spin on it!

Agree with you. I do the same. For exemple the wax on car: I laugh when I saw the first person putting the bottle of was on the hood. But the second one was just poor. Either be creative or do the real thing.

For the helicopter hunt, I drove 30 miles, to the manufacturing plant where I remembered seeing an helicopter set on a stand in front of the building. This is, I think, the spirit of this game.

Well all I can say is that all of mine have been real. And my best so far is my stang with the YELLOW PHI helicopter  .. Going to have that one blown up to hang in the house.
