I'm jealous! I have been looking for a 67/68 project car for my wife. She prefers a coupe. If ya don't mind, PM me with what ya paid for that. Just trying to get some ball park figures, on something like that.

Keep us up to date on the project of this car.

nice. I'm actually looking for a 64.5-68 coupe( you know, the ones that no one wants) and still can't find one. or a vert. Not so much of a fastback guy. Especially for what I plan. It would just make my job a lot harder. :thumpupn:
like they said, basic price range?

those are pretty good starters, but shipping would be murder and most of them are about 18,000 to high. something like the 1500 one, about 200 miles away would suite me just fine.

I'm sure most of you will think I'm crazy by the condition of the car, but The '67-'68 fastbacks are going through the roof pricewise ever since "Gone in 60 Seconds" and the whole Eleanor replica craze. I paid $5500 for what you see here, plus I have most of the interior, and a few new parts such as a windshield still in the box. It came with a 460ci big block, not in the car. This car is a original GT 4-speed car, but not much original stuff (drivetrain) came with it. For those of you wanting a coupe, they aren't demanding the prices the fastbacks are. Like I have on my webpage, the previous owner was planning on this being an Eleanor too...

The other thing I forgot to mention, I found this car in Columbus, Ohio, about 2 hrs away... so like cody2003 said- something close to where you live is much nicer; I had to make 2 trips there to get almost everything, and I still have a few more thing to get!

I found mine on http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/ All you have to do is input the price range, the location (or leave it blank to search th entire U.S.) and it will do the work for you. It's tied into the AutoTrader's you buy at the store, you just don't have to pay for it or look through the whole book for a certain car!!

Actually upon further investigation, yours is not the same one thats on Ebay, sry... But yours is actually nicer and for nearly the same money. I have been looking for a 67/68 FB project car recently and many that are listed are junk. Rust seems to be the big issue and being of limited resources i can't be messing with rust. What engine do you plan to use?

I went on e-bay after I saw that to look to see if someone stole some pics and listed it trying to scam someone... I saw a couple that had some potential, but you're right, there is alot of rust on them. Mine had new lower quarters already on, new front trame rails, and new floor pans too. Good luck in your search!
