Yeah I was scarred to lower it at first, but once I seen the results I don't know how I drove around on stilts! I love it. :thumpupn:

Hey, hit me up in a month or two and let me know how those springs ride. That drop looks exactley how I want my mustang to sit. If they ride good and help out at launch I might pick up a set. Also when your ready to get headders I reccomend nothing short of long tubes, you won't be upset with it one bit. I have BBK ceramic coated long tubes with dumps and I love it. Though I wish it were a little louder at idel. but the cams I'm looking into will probally take care of that for me :D
also when you puton the camber adjusters. did you take it to an alignment shop afterwards? or is that something you can set your self. I don't really know much about the camber adjusters

Hey, as of now coupled with the Tokico's the springs feel great! I was really worried I was going to have a crappy ride, I've have had two Mustangs and never lowered. But they ride just as stock if not better, a little more bounce in my step. I'll let you know how they feel when they fully settle, like you said in a month or two.
I couldn't be happier with how the drop looks! I was going to go with the Eibach pro's at first, but I liked how the H&R's were suppose to sit lower in the front for that raked look. And they definitely do, it looks very mean. You can tell some what from the pics, but it looks a lot better in person standing in front of the car. I went with just the Sports instead of the Super Sports. Didn't want to drop it too far and have to worry about going into parking lots all the time, plus I live in Chicago, so the streets aren't too friendly.
As for the Caster/Camber plates, you can set them youself if you know how. It's just a matter of loosening bolts and knocking the plates around to the right specification. But, you have to be very critical and take a tape measure and such to get it right, or so I have been told. I'd rather just pay a shop to do it, and get it right the first time. I'm taking my car in to get aligned on Monday, we'll see how that goes.
Headers sound great, but a lot of work, for someone who doesn't know how to put them in I bet their pretty expensive to install. Did you do your own?
Thanks for the comments!

I thought about it, but I really didn't have that kind of time, So I took it to a local shop. Had the long tubes and new gears installed for 340 bucks.

Holy hell $340 for a long tube install alone is a good deal, gears alone are usually $350-$400 bucks.

nah gears around here go in for 150 not including the price of the gear and install kit. i got a very good deal, plus i'm pretty good buddies with the guy that owns the shop

That is a sweet deal! If I could get them put in for that price, then I'd think about it. What kind of gears do you have, 3:73 or 4:10's?
Joe Friday

4.10's I'm glad I didnt go with the 3.73's.. when they say "Don't fear the gear" they are correct.

Awesome! So how is it with the 4.10's?? I heard 1st gear becomes non-existent. How is it driving in traffic and parking lots and such?
wtf? my quoted post some how edited this post? new post below

I rode in a fox body with 4.10's and first gear was junk. but on modulars first is still a goo dgear. sure it runs out faster but it dosen't make it useless. highway is no problem parking lots, no problem. I've had an increase in gas mileage since the 4.10's and long tubes by about 1~2 mpg. but most of my friving is city driving. if you're mostley highway you'll lose about 1~2 mpg. not that big of a deal to me.

Haha, yeah I don't know whats going on! But, yeah I am really interested in getting 4.10's myself. Sounds good, I do pretty much all city driving as well. Did you get it tuned or a speed cal to fix the speedometer? And how did it turn out, everything in sync?

I would say that 2nd gear more than makes up for it. I am going a 3.93 gear in my car or a 4.10 but not too sure. Cause i know i am going to slap a procharger on there soon so not sure how steep i want it to go.

Even more of a reason not to get gears... wow

Whats the point of getting 4.10s if you lose 1st gear... I laugh at these people.
