Most likely a joke....If not: you should be banned from the internet. A honda civic si can't handle 150hp of nitrous for long.

It's probably a joke....but you really never know. YMR recently had a member trade in his stang for a *COUGH*miata*COUGH*. Oh, the horror. :nonono:

I wouldn't blaim him if he did. I'm thinking of getting a beater once I graduate and taking my time converting the stang to methenol and a 4.2 swap. Most likely a 2000 or so Taurus.

Have fun with that. You do know that methenol will eat through your fuel lines, engine block, fule tank, well pretty much anything it touches. If you want to destroy your block go for it. Of course, then you could swap in an s/c 4V :D

well, I highly doubt that that much damage or there would be about 11,000 people in the mid west without cars. :beerchug:
even concidering that audi, lexus, and jaguar are all offering methenol kits for their latemodel cars. I'm fairly sure that it mainly consists of a program for the comp and different injectors. and just to build the better engine core in the 4.2 it would envolve stainless lines(both hard and braided) over most of the engine systems, and some good kevlar race gaskets in the block will handle the low end problems. The major problems with the degenerative problems come more from the ethel alcohol race fuels than pure methenol corn fuel. It's not quite as powerful. I just had to write a research paper on this stuff, so I have my research in.
I deffinantly won't be doing a V8 swap for a few reasons:
one this will be in an attempt to get more power, without the cost of a V8 for just the parts, and because to do this I don't have to change the entire harness in the car.
two, I would much rather change to a fuel that cost about 1.79 and will probably stay at that price for a very, very long time or even drop rather than have a gas gusler that wants stuff on it's way to 3.00 and no end in site for the price.
three, why waist my extra money on a daily driver when I have some grand plans that you have not seen or heard about that will satisfy any needs for power that I would want the the future. Besides, we've both stated our opinions on the V6/V8 argument and you know where I stand there.
besides, If I run out of gas on the side of the road, I just have to find a liqour store and poor in some Jack. :naughty: lol

Thank you for your concern. no, I would rather spend the time and money on the sixer now, so I have it done, than get a bigger engine and in 5 years be driving an electric metro.
oh, and Aerosi665 what do you refer to as JD?
