I was thinking about the fact that I've driven quite a few cars in my life. I mean really driven. Out of all the aspects of driving, to me handling is the most important because I enjoy spirited driving through the twisties more than I do straight line pulls.

I came up with my "Top 10" list of best handling cars I've driven. Here it is:

1) 88 944 Turbo S
2) 00 Toyota Celica GT-S
3) 04 SVT Cobra
4) 01 Audi S4
5) 92 Subaru SVX LS-L
6) 91 Toyota MR2 Turbo
7) 94 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
8) 92 Toyota Supra Turbo
9) 90 Eagle Talon TSi AWD
10) 00 Mustang GT Convertible

The thing about this list, though, is that each car had at least 1 area in which I'd have "more fun" with it than the rest. That's the main reason they made it to my top 10 list, because each one gave me that "oooh, I want to do that again!" type feeling after a spirited drive.

My conclusion is that they all rock in different ways.

you should drive a late 80s Nissan Z. Little cars, impossible to flip. Trust me. :nailbite:
had pirellies on mine, and it was damn near impossible to tear out the rear end. :thumpupn:

Now now Jim, we all know your Cobra is hooked up to the Amtrak rail system... But a stock Cobra has a little bit more body roll than the maximum allowed to make it into the #1 or #2 spots...

Let me tell you something, though... It more than made up for it as soon as you clear the corner... Those 2nd gear pulls could scare a greasly bear. Me, they just made me smile.

I was just about to say that I'm curious as to how your list would change after driving a Stage 3 Roush. After all that's what they are built for. I think it's consider stock since that's how it comes from the factory
