Hey everyone, it was close to 70 degrees here today in NH, so I took the stang out of storage for some pics. I also did some new Mods as well. Please check it out and let me know what you think. These pics are a lot better than the other ones. :thumpupn:

pics look awesome....I really like the old look of the sport bar though...I dont know why Saleen lowered it on the 04 ones, the 99-03's look a lot better with it showing more.....I think it was 04 that they changed, may have been 03 though?

Yeah, it was 04 when the lowered it, but it is part of the torneau cover. They call it the Anniversary Speedster Edition. When I take the torneau cover off, the bar comes with it. I like the old one too, but I think this looks makes it look streamlined and sleek. But I hear what you are saying. I contimplate a lot, whether to get a permanent light bar. :thumpupn:

wow that really sucks...I never knew it was attached to the shell.....That really sucks, no more just dropping the top and still having that nice look of the sport bar...Kinda sucks cause then you have to determine whether or not its going to rain, cause I know the hard shell will not fit in the trunk etc.....That really sucks, you should do a perm one and just get the third brake light cut off switch...Then remove the sport bar from the hardshell http://forums.gotstang.com/images/smilies/thumbs_up.gif

I have thought about that, but my dilemma is this, this car will only see about 1K-3K miles a year and will never be driven in the rain. The only time it will be driven, is when the forecast says nothing but blue skies, not a drop in site. I have a child and work from home, so driving this car will be limited. But, again I hear ya, kinda sucks......
