Went over 10,000 miles today. gad dammit well it could'nt stay a puppy forever. It was so freakin beautiful here today so I had to take it to work. Of course the ride home was topless. First topless ride of the year. I love my Vert.

Well that's been my look on it too. It had just over 6,000 in August. I'm having fun driving it. To look at it is nice but I'd much rather be behind the wheel.

I maybe got a couple of thousand miles on the new rebuild. My Odometer says 36, 000, so I guess all total, there is over 136,000 miles on it.

whoa, actually, you just came up with a great concept! for those who don't care about warranty/depreciation, we can set up weekly challenges and what they have to do is basically take a pic with proof of date (daily newspaper on picture, and no photoshopping) of the odometer. Then for a whole week they drive around racking up miles, then they finally report their miles on the last day of the challenge. See who's covered more road.

I'm with you on the race not to put on the miles, but as for the put on as many miles as you can, what about those who have to work, they'll be at a disadvantage to say those who may be retired, or retarded (How ever you want to look at it).

However let's go back to the previous comment. Lets see, my car is 11 years old, your car is 1 year old, on an average my car has had a little over 900 miles a year put on it, Your car has about 9,000 a year. Are you sure you wanna take that race? LOL. O.k. now the truth, I bought the car in August of 04' with a little over 6,000 now I'm a little over 10,000. So with those calcs. I myself am doing a little over 7,000 a year with about 8-9 months actual driving weather.

I got mine with 5520 miles over new year's weekend. So in 3 months I've put 4500 miles on it. Ouch.

The car was purchased May of 2004 by it's original owner, so it's not even a year old!
