New Shelby Cobra GT 500 announced

Ford announced the Shelby today in New York.

Man I hate how they keep making mention of the 2k Cobra R..

The '03/04 Cobras go from 0 to 100 in under 10 seconds (about 9.9)... 0 to 60 in 4.5... How about that for honorable mentions?

Poor Terminator Cobras... So much performance, and no recognition.

I guess they're just emphasizing the 5.4L engine, but a lot of the articles fail to mention the Terminators when talking about performance.

If Carrol Shelby says this:

"The car feels like it has a lot more horsepower than it has. But not only that, it gets the power down the ground."

There's a pretty good chance that the car has more than 450hp. I think I am going to have to start saving some pennies for a down payment on that bitch.
