I'm 28, about 5'8", like long walks on the beach...
I grew up in a family who races Fords, and have been around the racing scene and engine building my whole life. I personally have been grass roots racing since I was 16. We currently have two racecars, a 1965 Ranchero with a 351w, and a 1965 Mustang coupe with a 514 cubic inch 460.
The Ranchero which is going through some changes currently runs low elevens in the 1/4 mile, and the Mustang which is near completion will be a super comp car (8.90 index). Both cars are all throttle and no bottle.
My project car (has been since I was 15), a 1965 Coupe is a factory 289 2 barrel car with a three speed tranny. It is now a 289 4 barrel, with 4 speed that has been balanced, blue printed, and bored .030 over with a factory Ford Le Mans race cam.
Well, I think that's all for now. I look forward to getting accustomed to this site.
