View Full Version : Almost lost my front bumper tonight...

Jess and I were coming home from her parents house... was getting on an on ramp and hit a patch of black ice... Got sideways.. over corrected... and finally recovered... Was very close to losing my front bumper :( :nailbite:

Thank god... I think the amount of members being 666 didnt help! lol. :cussing:

How is everyones weekend?

I kno how that feels sometimes becuase where i live theres always black ice and i really care about my car aslo.

Well he is here talking about the bumper. I will bet though after he looked at Jess and the baby first before he hopped out and looked at his other child.

Weekend is going fine so far. Rain has finally stopped for a while and took the roush for a spin. Also had son's Bday party yesterday....All is good on the western front.

I hit some black ice this winter but nothing that bad...Ive done my fair share of spins so I can recover fairly quickly depending on the original turning angle of the car....Glad ot see you guys are alright but I think I would do the same reaction J...ask my Amanda how she is and make sure she's fine, then do a full walk around on the car, check the tires, rims etc then get back in....I would say 5 sec with amanda...5 min on the car and 30 min begging for forgiveness :j: :lol:

As of now though Seattle is already in a drougt...sunny for the past month with temps in the 50's to low 60's and snowfall is about 4% of normal so you could say were pretty screwed here for summer :w00t:
