yep, another part to add to my basement of parts waiting to be installed. :D Mine are Jet Hot coated. I plan on the basani gaskets, locking header bolts, and of course a heat shield for my starter, just to make sure it dosent get too hot :D

Have fun installing those. I think if I had a 4.6, I might actually just pay someone to do it for me...You oughta throw a tubular K member on with it at the same time.

it's not hard work, just time consuming. I have a local shop that said they would do it for 80 bucks... I dont think they know what they are getting into :D

They definitely don't have a clue. IMO time consuming may as well be hard work. That is the dead last thing I'd want to tackle for a 4.6. I'd want to buy them, but getting around to installing them would wait until a convienent point came along, like a tubular K-member swap, or some stage 2 heads or something that creared a whole lot of room. I love my 5.0...I can go take a pic of my headers, they're easy to see and get to.

So you've already done a few sets of longtubes on a 4.6? It's busted knuckle cursing time, not tedious. You'd better be ready to tip that shop owner/mechanic if they let you have the car back for $80. A buddy of mine took a 98 TA to a shop for a tuneup. They quoted hime $135 for the job. Whwn we went back to pick up the car, the guy said to never come back looking for another #135 tune-up, he'd charge more like $600. You LT's are going to be the same situation for sure.
