That type of comment I used to get from my younger Airmen. They would say , "Wow Sgt V, you've been in the Air Force longer than I have been alive"

My comment would be, "And yeah, you could be a leftover from one of my TDYs" TDY is a Temporary Deployment!!

I'm a little more seasoned than you guys are...48 yrs young..
I still play softball..(21 yrs)with guys half my age,I'm a grandfather also.

My dad was old when he was 35..of course 20 years in the navy
and 3 combat tours in vietnam will do that to you.

Age is a number,not an attitude....my son and family,cars and sports
keep me young.

That's funny, I did 12 and lost all my darn hair by 26, The stuff I was exposed to underway probably firmly planted one of my feet in the grave. Besides the rapid aging of the body you also have to deal with having your maturity put on hold. I've been out for 3 years now, and in that time I've rapidly aged from 18 to 33 years old. :)
