Hi all from Snowy Rhode Island.

I have an 89 lx. bought it from a kid that tried to restore it, but he did a pretty bad job. We stripped the whole car to bare metal and repainted it. Midnight Blue Metallic with silver blue metallic gt style stripes. (pics will be coming when I am on my main pc)
Interior has been completely replaced. Car was originally red as was int. We switched out the entire int except the head liner, Still looking for one that is blue with sunroof. It now has Power windows as well as Power Steering.

The summer project is to drop in a 5.0, along with a new tran and rear end.(she currently has the a rebuilt 4 cyl.)
I have been a stang fan since I took a ride in one when I was 8. This past summer my reward to mself for a promotion was to purchase this car and start restoring it. It is a step towards my ultimate goal of owning a 68 fastback.
I am currently looking for a garage for the winter. I hate HATE HATE snow. and hate seeing my Stang sitting in it.

Welcome. Post pics when you have the chance. BTW, their's nothing wrong with a 4 banger Mustang. In fact, SVO did a 4cyl. turbocharged version in 85.
