IP config?

I have a problem connecting to the net on my desktop. Well actuly connecting to the network. It will not refresh my ip addres. I know you can run ip config but that comes up then goes away. I was wondering if this is some kinda virus or how i can fix it? Time to reformat?

lol type cmd in the run line then type ipconfig

that will fix it? I did that and it restarts. i tried that first. It will not run adaware. It will but it will not remove anythign it just puts everythign under the ignore list on there and shuts down after it runs. I run the cmd prompt and it shuts down. It did this after i downloaded some videos off another forum

actually its check for security risks...

ye ai have norton but when i run it to check for a virus it will shut down. it is weird so i am thinking just reformat and be done with it.
