Since I was moving back home (after caring for my mother until she died) we had to have a Carport built to handle the overflow of vehicles. We added it behind the garage which houses my 66 GT & wife's Hemi Powered 64 Stude' Wagon. We fenced it off from the ally & I added privacy strips into the fence weave & floor coating designed for outdoor use. Thought I'd show a few pics of the new Carport.

Nice job. The more covered parking the better. My poor 87 sits in the driveway now. No more garage for her. She and the 99 are soaking up the elements... in a bad way.

I'll make room for that '87 in my barn :)

I added electrical outlets under the new car port (no leaks under there) as well as "tarps" to help keep dust off the vehicles, it also keeps off any rain or snow. We had the heaviest snow fall on record last month and there was no problem with the "flat" (actually has some slope) roof. I just got a call that our 64 Studebaker Wagon now has it's air conditioning installed by the shop in Fort Worth (important with our three digit temps from April until November)! It will go under the car port 'til I can get the rest of the garage cleaned out - my 66 already is in the garage when not being driven.
