does anyone know if a subframe connectors from a 04 stang will fit on my 87 notch. any info will help me out thanks

did some research.. depends on the sub frame connectors.. but more than likley no... they will not

You could always get them welded on.

Get the subs welded in. I don't know if the newer stangs with subs will fit the fox bodies, I don't know.

Any subframe connectors will fit anything from the first gen stangs all the way up to the 04's. They're just long metal alloy rods welded to the two main frame beams. Now, when you get into the X-brace stuff and side exhaust fittament, then yes you will have to check the specific fittings for the year and model SFC.

Perfect answer!!! Agree 100% Some connectors are simply square steel tubing too... in any event, cut 'em and weld 'em! :thumbup:

Yeah and if you notice, the spintech and Evolution motorsport sfc's have an arch in them towards the back that allows a couple precious inches of clearance for any side exhaust that one might want. EVM's also has the cross brace AND a free driveshaft saftey loop.
