Will a 351w cam work in a 302

The 351 and 302's all use the same blocks and ultimately same everything else. The difference being bore and stroke. To answer your question Yes, the 351W cam will fit in a 302. It's simple and nothing special until you start swapping from a 351C or M. That is a whole different ball game

A 351 block and a 302 block arent the same. A 351 is MUCH wider, and taller. They use totally different intakes,headers,ect. The cams,and the heads are the interchangable though. As long as both the 351 and 302 use the same style lifters. Basically dont try putting a flat tappet 351 cam into your roller block 5.0. If both are rollers, or both are flat tappet it will work
