Thanks in advance to anyone who does it.

can you get a full side profile shot of the car?
And you need lowering springs NOW. :D

what shocks and struts are you putting on with them? Hope you're not planning on keeping the stock ones. That's a big no no. Believe me, you will wish you had gotten aftermarket shocks and struts when you put the springs on.
Ride quality will be awful and besides, when you do get new shocks and struts, you'll have to pull the entire suspension apart anyways, not to mention have to pay for a 2nd alignment (since you'll have to have that done regardless). You'll save money and time by doing it all at once.
I had the tokico illuminas on mine and I loved them. Computerguy has the mach 1 shocks and struts which are re-badged Tokico "blues". From what I could feel, they're a very similar feel to the middle setting on my illuminas.

Umm nobody told me any of this? I guess I will get the kit, save up $ again for shocks and struts if this is true... Because I am having it installed, and would be cheaper to get it all done at once.

Not entirely true... Ill admit I have a ruffer ride, though.. but im also firmer.. I just changed out my springs to eibach sportlines and I love them.

You should only need an alignment. You don't absolutely have to have shocks and struts, but it would help ride quality.

it also depends on springs. whatever springs computerguy got when we installed them, it rode dang near soft as stock and gave a nice 1.5 inch drop. they were knock off springs that he got on ebay for like $100 but the car sits nice.
Shocks and struts do more for the suspension than springs do. If you don't believe me, tell that to the guys at the solo II events with stock springs and race shocks/struts who murder the times of the guys with dozens of bolt ons and lowering springs.
If you look around at the classified sections on other stang forums such as modulardepot.com and mabey stangnet or the corral, you can find a steal of a deal on a set of mach 1 shocks and struts. That's what I'd do if I were on a budget. If you want to spend an extra $300, you can get a brand new set of the 5 way tokico adjustables.
But yes, in all honesty, it's not REQUIRED, but if you're getting someone to install the springs, installing the shocks and struts won't take any extra time because you have to pull the factory ones to get the springs on (well...unless you know a few tricks).
