I guess i'll be different and say ....how about since schools are starting back in session a calculator, ruler, or notebook? or if you guys still want fruit how about an orange, lemon, or lime? ok so i wasn't completely different.

Fruit? Something totally different. A starfruit. School supplies? A ruler or maybe a dictionary?

I think school supplies would be a good idea.....
Fruit will go bad after a while of driving around in someone's car and may stain or stink up the car.......

Good point about the fruit .. the wife brought up the idea of a shool back pack like the ones kids use to carry stuff to school in. She said it would be big enough to be seen in the pics and comes in lots of colors. She forced me to add her .02 here :nailbite:

a lunchbox would be good, or a backpack. I think anything smaller would be hard to validate....

Who has a lunchbox anymore?

When we took the kids to school, nobody had 'em .. they were all coolers and insulated lunch bags.

That is close enough in my mind, it is still a box I put my lunch in and take to work/school, it is just soft on the sides and doesn't have scooby-doo on the front.

They still make those old style lunch boxes .. I saw some at Walmart the other day with cartoon characters on them and I believe they were cheap too.
