Anyone hear anything about Mustang Alley (woodward dream cruise)this year yet? I try to register as soon as it's opened up so we make it in, but I haven't heard anything about it yet this year...

Woodward Dream Cruise is 8/16. It runs from Pontiac to Ferndale (near Detroit) and it's the worlds largest one day gathering of cars (althouth it unoffically runs the whole week before). It's really not a show, more of a crawl (cruise)-it fills 8 lanes of Woodward Ave for miles (4 lanes each way). Words can't really describe it (neither can pics). Check out www.woodwarddreamcruise.com for more info. Ford usually sponsors Mustang Alley on 9 mile in Ferndale, last year there were over 500 Mustangs registered. IMO, Woodward is something every car guy/gal should see in their lives, it's amazing. All kinds of cars, classic, exotic, late model, custom, motorized bar stools, just about anything and everything that can have a motor. We've seen the zippo car, the hearse club, the batmobile, a beetle made of wrought iron, a classic firetruck with four wheel steer, an Aussie falcon...all kinds of neat cars.

Usually Motor City Terminators have the sign up for Mustang Alley, if I hear anything I'll let you all know.

Thanks Judy! I found the link to their Mustang Alley page on their site from Ferndale's site, but it still had last years info on it.
