Need help from any 5.0 fox owner!

PLEASE help me confirm this tapped wire is right!

when I put this used 5.0 harness in my car during the swap, I found that the orange wire comming from the other end of the TPS plug went no where. It was a bare wire. I then realized there was another orange wire from the EGR to the main harness which had a spot which was also bare. So...I tapped them together because I could not see any other place for this TPS wire to go.

Can someone please check their orange wire on their TPS and tell me where it's supposed to go? I'm having TPS issues which is either this tap connection is crap, or who knows if the wiring is supposed to be like this?

You may need to reset your TPS, it should be set at .98 volts.

I'm going to try to check the 5 volt reference and then check again what setting it's at. I wonder if the brown/orange wire is moving when I hit bumps and changing the 5 volt reference which could be why I have intermittent issues?

but I'll check it to be sure It's set right (I just had someone set it for me with their volt meter becuase I don't think I have one good enough..I may need to pick one up so I can check it for myself!)
