Ya know I just had an idea. Just thinking out loud here but I think if you got the black widow hood, and keep the center scoop, but have the shop shave off the side piece thingys next to the scoop it would look pretty dam sweet. Just my thought.

yea i like that idea as well, i dont care to much for the scoops on the sides.

A friend of mine bought that hood for his 98. The side scoops, if you want to call them that are just for looks. They are not functional. The don't appear to look to be designed to even be functional.

They have one without the side thingys called the cobra R-SVO very nice. or you could go with the VENOM hood. check out the link in my previous post.

The venom would look good if you filled in the side vents on the hood, an the scoop on the SVO looks a little too small for me.

How much you thinkin it would cost to have em shaved??? It would def look way better without them on the hood! The kit should arrive this week

I dont really know an exact price. It will vary with every shop. I wouldn't think they would charge that much, really all there doing is cutting off the side pieces, and then smoothing out the surface.

Ya so its like 400 to have the side vents so im not gonna do it! But I ordered new wheels im sure everyone is gonna hate this cuz i get alot of shit in other forums for havin 20x8's so I said screw em now im gettin 22x10's in the rear and 20x9 in the front should look sick! but there is some black in them I was thinkn bout havin the black painted the color of my car what do yall think?

Im more for SHOW then go! I like the way a car (no matter what kind) looks when the wheel well is filled up by some nice wheels and the car is lowered. I guess we all got different views as to what looks good, but if everyones cars looked the same it would suck! I think itll look good once I get the Kit and hood on, but now I gotta decide on what spoiler i want to go with im thinking either the S281 or the Steeda?????

you do realize if you put a 22 on the rear you will be practically sitting on very little tire. Plus you run a mucl larger risk of a blowout with that small of a sidewall on the tire.

Ya I realize that. My buddy owns the shop im gettin my wheels and tires from so if it blows ill just get a new one for cheap, but im pretty careful about pot holes when im drivin.

a blow out may tear up the car if the rubber gets thrown around.
