Ford Blows! -READ

Hope this doesnt effect ya'll's calendar too. Well...it wouldn't...until Ford or cafepress catch it!

Ford has instructed CafePress.com to not print anything with any of their vehicles in it, regardless of who owns the copyright to the photo/who owns the vehicle.

It wouldn't surprise me, but it's something Ford cannot do.

If they can, then they need to start paying EVERY ford owner ADVERTISING FEES for advertising their products on the street. They should also be making any car payment and insurance premium payments if it's their car.

This is cafepress getting nervous about Ford. Its cafepress making sure they dont get sued. In order to have any mustang in any of their products, you need approval from ford. Its not really Fords fault, but more of cafepress for not having some balls. We got approval from ford and sent to cafepress. All is normal now.

Yes Ford doesnt own the rights to your photos... but cafepress is flagging all images so they cover their ass. Cafepress is putting the dirty work on the users to go get fords permission. I mean if you upload a picture of your car it gets flagged. Cafepress should realize there are no mustang logos in it and approve it. They are playing it safe.
