I'm getting ready to drop my stang in the weeds....I have the 2" springs for the front and the 1 7/8" in the rear....this is the question I need answered.

Late Model sells 2 kits for my car ....one without quads ..one with....do i have to have the quads to do the lowering or not....and what are the pluses to installing quads and negitives of not using them...

Thanks everyone GT95

if you have aftermarket control arms that use polyurathane bushings then you do not need the quad shocks. the factory rubber bushings in the control arms let the axle move to much which created wheel hop so they installed the quad shocks to help prevent the wheel hop.

It seems to me to be about 50-50. Some cars I know have wheel hop with aftermarket control arms and no quads. I dont have a problem in my fox without them. Try without them first you can always put them back on if you have a problem.
